August 25thPeople's Bank of China Deputy Governor Mr. Su Ning inspected Tencent's Shenzhen office headquarters located in Gaoxin District with his entourage: People's Bank of China Shenzhen City Center Brand Office Head Luo Bochuan and Branch Office Deputy Head Cui Yu. During the inspection Deputy Governor Su listened to work reports and opinions on business development.
When Deputy Governor Su arrived at the Tencent office at 10 a.m. he was heartily welcomed by Tencent CEO Ma Huateng and CAO Chen Yidan. After a tour of the exhibition hall Deputy Governor Su entered into a conference with CEO Ma. CEO Ma gave Deputy Governor Su a detailed introduction on products such as Internet portal website instant messaging on-line gaming Internet value added services and wireless Internet services. TenPay.com General Manager Liu Yingqi did a presentation on TenPay.com and discussed the issues that TenPay.com has encountered. Tencent CAO Chen Yidan expresses Tencent's willingness to build up a third party payment market foster innovations improve business operations and enhance security features. After hearing all the reports Deputy Governor Su expressed his approval of Tencent's accomplishments and praised Tencent's exploring new models of business operations and making innovations. Deputy Governor Su hoped that China's third party payment enterprises with TenPay.com as representative can strengthen risk control and keep the mission of strengthening the nation in mind in all enterprise operations. The People's Bank of China will continuously fine-tune policies to help regulate the market creating a favorable market environment for third party payment enterprises.
At the end of the inspection Tencent CEO Ma Huateng presented Deputy Governor Su with a gift: a QQ account number. Deputy Governor Su gladly accepted the special virtual gift.
