The Tencent Charity Foundation (Tencent Foundation) was founded in June 2007. It represents Tencent’s commitment to supporting charitable causes by donating a portion of its annual profits.
Tencent Foundation is guided by the vision of being a “connector and co-creator of a better society” and the mission of “putting tech for good into practice and using philanthropy to lead innovation in sustainable social value.” It actively promotes the deep integration of the internet with the philanthropic and charitable sector.
As of the end of 2025, Tencent had donated RMB 15.6 billion (US$2.2 billion) to Tencent Foundation. Since its establishment, Tencent employees had donated RMB 72.1 million (US$10.3 million) to the organization.
