Tencent Launches Four Smart Transportation Products at the First China Smart Transportation Conference in Beijing
On October 23, the first China Smart Transportation Conference jointly held by Tencent and China Communication News was convened in Beijing. Zhou Wei, Chief Engineer of the Ministry of Transport, Jiang Yang, Vice President of Tencent, Zheng Haojian, Vice President of Tencent, Cai Yuhe, President of China Communication News, Deng Zigang, Vice Director of the New Rail Transit Technology Research Institute of the State Key Laboratory of Traction Power as well as many other representatives from the political, industrial, academic and research fields attended the conference. Under the theme of “Walking into the Future”, the conference discussed the status quo and future trends of China’s smart transportation industry.

On October 18, the World Intelligent Connected Vehicles Conference was convened in Beijing. While making a speech at the conference, Ma Huateng, Chairman of the board and CEO of Tencent, said that industrial manufacturing is the main battlefield of the digital economy, and the automotive industry is a key sector of industrial manufacturing. Intelligent connected cars, to a certain extent, are carrying our dream of moving from a big manufacturing country to a manufacturing powerhouse. Intelligent connected vehicles are an innovative carrier of cross-boundary integration. On September 13, WeChat Pay joined hands with Shenzhen North subway station, and launched the first “WeChat unconscious payment” smart parking lot of the urban integrated transport hub in Shenzhen North subway station. Since then, the subway station has been connected to WeChat Pay to allow unconscious payment, so that users can pay the parking fee through “WeChat unconscious payment” and enjoy convenient and efficient smart parking experience.

On August 23, the first Smart China Expo opened in Chongqing. Ma Huateng (Pony Ma), chairman of the Board and CEO of Tencent, delivered a speech at the event. China’s First Blockchain E-invoice Issued in Shenzhen, Adding Another Application Scenario to Tencent Blockchain
On August 10, China’s first blockchain electronic invoice was issued in Shenzhen. Witnessed by Ren Rongfa, Deputy Director of the State Administration of Taxation, Ai Xuefeng, Vice mayor of Shenzhen People’s Government, Zhang Guojun, Shenzhen Tax Service of the State Administration of Taxation, and other guests and media outlets, the International Trade Revolving Restaurant issued the first blockchain e-invoice, making Shenzhen the first pilot city for blockchain e-invoices in China and the launch of the blockchain era of taxation service.
