Tencent Launches QClaw Globally, Lowering Barriers to AI Agent Deployment

2026.04.21
Tencent launched an international beta version of QClaw*, enabling users to cultivate AI Agents that can help to enhance daily productivity and knowledge. Built on the open-sourced OpenClaw framework, QClaw is designed to be easily deployable by users, even if they do not have the technical know-how to handle complex setups and configurations.

With QClaw, users simply need to download the application on their Windows or MacOS devices, register, scan a QR code, and get it running within three minutes. QClaw is preintegrated with multiple toptier international large language models, and it also supports custom model integration via API keys to meet diverse usage preferences.

Users can connect their preferred instant messaging channels such as WhatsApp or Telegram to QClaw, enabling them to raise remote commands, prompts and instructions on their smartphones that will sync to their computers in real-time for immediate task execution.

QClaw's Three Core Use Cases: Powering Every Aspect of Daily Life

The key appeal of OpenClaw lies in its ability to develop AI agents that understands user needs better over time through continuous interaction. Building on this key functionality, QClaw offers users three flagship use cases – pre-configured with AI Agents – that are designed to uplift different scenarios in daily lives.

  • QClaw It – AI agents that help to simplify repetitive and tedious tasks such as trip planning, tax filling, and ticket purchases;
  • QClaw Daily – AI Agents that creates and reminds users of daily routines relating to fitness, beauty, sleep patterns, health and more; and
  • QClaw Up – AI agents that enhance work productivity, in areas such as marketing, social-media engagement, job applications and more.

QClaw runs on the user’s device, with all data processed within the user environment. It also introduces a dedicated security module called “Claw Gateway”, providing endtoend protection for AI operations — including realtime detection of malicious instructions and skill poisoning risks.

Since the launch of its public beta in Mainland China, QClaw has delivered more than 80 feature iterations within one month.

The international version of QClaw is now open to its first group of users (20,000 slots) via the official website at qclawsg.qq.com.

* International beta version of QClaw is currently only available to users in Canada, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and the US. To be rolled out progressively in more markets.
