Tencent Charity Foundation

The Tencent Charity Foundation was founded in June 2007. It represents Tencent's commitment to support charities through the donation of a portion of yearly profits.

The Tencent Foundation created an online public fundraising platform, the first of its kind in China, leveraging our Internet capabilities to provide the public with the ability to participate in charitable endeavors at anytime, anywhere. The platform has been made available to eligible charitable organizations free of charge.

99 Giving Day

The highlight of the Tencent Foundation's charity efforts is the annual “99 Giving Day” campaign held in September, during which Tencent matches any donations made by the public via its online platform.

Tencent Great Wall Protection Project

Launched in September 2016, the Tencent Great Wall Protection Project is a special fund jointly established by the Tencent Foundation and the China Foundation for Cultural Heritage Conservation, dedicated to the protection of The Great Wall of China.
